Beyer Institutes Scholarship Fund
Beyer Construction has established an endowed scholarship
fund at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Beyer Construction
Delyle G. Beyer scholarship is a way for us to inspire students
to pursue careers in the construction industry, and to honor
the founder of our company.
Del Beyer is a practical, hands-on mechanical and structural
problem solver who never had the benefit of a formal education.
MSOE is just the kind of school he would have attended if
he had had the opportunity.
We have gained by employing several talented MSOE students
and graduates over the years as interns and project managers,
including current project managers Joel Cook and Dean Handrow.
In our experience, MSOE does an excellent job of preparing
students for the business of construction. The endowment will
assist Bachelor's Degree candidates in Construction Management
and Architectural Engineering beginning with the 1999-2000
academic year.
