Yes, We Construct New Buildings, Too.

According to a recent survey we commissioned, architects, engineers and building owners perceive Beyer Construction as specialists in renovations and interior construction.

While those have been among our key strengths since our founding in 1951, an increasing share of our business in recent years has been construction "from the ground up." Among the new building projects in our expanding portfolio are the following:

Commercial: the 73,000 square foot Sportmart Plaza, featuring Sportmart and Linens 'N Things; The Passeggio, a unique two-story Italian style shopping and apartment complex (see story page 3);

Healthcare: the Northpoint Medical Clinic in the Airport Business Center adjacent to Mitchell Field; and the Concentra Occupational Medical Center;

Recreation: the Milwaukee Soccer Complex, a 67,000 square foot facility featuring four indoor fields and support services; and the clubhouse and support buildings at Washington County Family Park Golf Course;

Government: the New Berlin Post Office, one of only 30 of a new breed of postal facilities in the nation;

Religious: Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church; Falls Baptist Church and Academy expansion, including a new two story, 16,700 square foot classroom and fellowship hall;
Education: More than 150,000 square feet of new building space for West Bend East and West Bend West High Schools' shared campus;

Manufacturing: a 30,000 square foot plant and office building for Cerac, Inc.; an a new 41,000 square foot manufacturing and office facility for Ultra Tool, Inc.;

Institutional: the Washington County Shelter Care Facility.

We feature many of our completed projects in text and photos in Building Success. But since we publish only four times a year, it would take three years to highlight just the 12 we've noted here. Meanwhile, as we continue building on our success, the growing number of new construction project photos on our office walls inspires us to do even larger and more challenging work.

You can count on Beyer Construction to continue to live up to our reputation for high quality renovations, expansions and historic restorations. But we advertise ourselves as a full service construction firm, and that includes new construction.

We've served successfully on new projects as general contractor, design/build contractor and construction manager. We're on the grow and we're actively pursuing more new construction assignments.
